Welcome... Tom Gorrell, 2010 Campaign Chair announced that we have reached 93% of our Goal for the 2010 United Way Campaign. Tom urges everyone to keep up the momentum saying,

"We've come this far...and now we really need to keep the momentum going. Talk with your friends, your co-workers. Ask them if they've made a commitment to our community, either through giving or volunteering. The success of our campaign and our community doesn't just happen, it takes a commitment from everyone to raise the necessary dollars to meet our community's growing needs."

Tom thanks the many companies, organizations and individuals that are 'thinking outside the box' and are quietly coming up with new events and ways to raise funds for programs which are so vitally important to the life flow of our communities.

In the very near future 2010 Census information will be delivered throughout the country. Why is an accurate count and census information so important to us? Because over 400 BILLION dollars of federal funding is disbursed each year, based on census data. Receiving our fair share of these funds translates to a better infrastructure...more services...a brighter tomorrow for everyone. Please click & print the attachment below and post it openly in your office or location. Alert your staff to accurately complete and return the census information. Share this information with all your contacts, agencies, friends, and others in the community. We need to make sure that everyone is counted so we receive our fair share of support.
